New Placement...

So...
The ex wife.

She could not pay the gas bill,
so the gas got turned off.
Leaving her,
AND OUR GIRLS,
with no heat or hot water.

THEN,

She leaves and goes to LA for
a couple of days,
leaving the girls at their apartment,
without ANY adult supervision.

She did not notify ANYONE that she
was leaving.

I found out when I woke up one morning,
from a long night before,
with messages on my phone from their school.

Trinity was sick,
it was noon by the time I got a hold of the office,
she had been in there since 9am.

I rushed down and picked her up
and brought her back home with me.

She told me that her mom was in LA with her boyfriend,
and that Brittany (the oldest, age 12)
was left in charge.

FACT: IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AGE 12 IS THE LEGAL AGE TO STAY HOME ALONE, IT ISNT UNTIL FIFTEEN THAT A CHILD IS ALLOWED TO BE LEFT IN CHARGE OF OTHER CHILDREN (BABYSITTING), BECAUSE IT IS CONSIDERED A JOB. THE LEGAL EMPLOYMENT AGE IS 15.

The ex wife left a 12 year old girl in charge of:
A 10 year old girl,
8 year old girl,
and 5 year old girl.
an apartment.
cooking with no gas.

&&
At an apartment
where her abusive ex has been known to come
and kick in the door being violent.

Before we could do anything We found out
that Alexis (second oldest, 10)
reported her mother to the office.

Child Services then investigated
and the kids were taken away and put with their
grandmother (ex wifes mother).

For the record we are still unable to get custody
because the ex wife took his custody and visitations
away while he was in jail about 6 years ago.
We are currently working with the grandma and
the courts to get everything back.

This is a great thing.
